IASL Bookmark Exchange Project

Our school is participating in the ISLM (International School Library Month) Bookmark Exchange Project.  We have been busy creating our bookmarks to send around the world.  In exchange, we will receive bookmarks from around the world as well.  So far, we are matched up with schools in the following countries:
  • Croatia
  • Italy
  • Romania
  • Russia
  • Scotland
  • Australia
  • India
  • Singapore
  • Spain
I have been in communication with the school librarians or contacts in these schools and we are planning to build blog posts around some of the information we know about the schools we are matched up with, so I can't wait to also share with all of you about this experience!

  1. Hi from Italy, We have almost finished the bookmarks and on next friday when we'll open the library, parents will come to admire them before we'll send them to you. Then I'll send you photo about the library and the day.
As I've written, our library is very small and we don't have a lot of books. In Italy school libraries exist only where some teachers and parents believe in their utilities.
I love your blog: thank you for the informations about how to create a timeline. Marjorie Crivelli
